SanjayKhuntia: You can directly get these examples, once you will install the SDK. under s60Ex folder there are good number of Location application examples to start with.

This is something like a FAQ here. Just use some "critical" words like "location string" or "location info" with the forum search box in the upper-right and you will find a large number of informative posts about this. Will keep you busy for the rest of the day

I don't think you will like my answers, but I live in a ountry where the bandwith is very overpriced, especially on GPRS/3G.

1. 0 - 1
2. Word processor documents, spreadsheets, etc.
3. Ussualy not, problem is other person needs decryption software, and people just aren't clued up on these stuff.
4. 15, but using my PC internet connection.

Well anyway I think it would be worth your effort, as Symbian released the Crypto libraries publicly, and it seems quite easy to use AES with SHA-1 generated key. I have not used the libraries though. If it is possible to make it self decrypting, analogues to self extracting archive that will be great!

nice to know that u love symbian so do i,

but the real change for public developers is to make things work which are internal to the sdk ..

try to switch profile or write a device driver or fsy with public sdk ... to strengthen more knowledge than wht u get in a partnered company...

i often worked on symbian always and never wanted to get out of it. coz it is amazing os . There are some regrets that happend to me this year from symbian ltd.

My personal conclusion: The "big boys", the ones in power right now, i.e. the network operators, are not worried too much by some dead bedroom coders. There were not that many to begin with, as Symbian is quite hard to program for if you are lone coder in a bedroom.

Whether they should worry is another and quite complicated question.
