what kind of info are you looking for?
because u can find about anything about symbian on newlc tutorials, and its way more practical than an actual book.

Try to set this SDK as default device, if you have few.

I've got the same problem. Did you (or anyone else) find a solution? On booth device and emulator the app just exists without saying why. I verified this by
User::Panic(_L("test"), 1);
and
User::Leave(KErrNotFound);
In both cases, the app just exists. Is there any way to catch the reason? This applies to both device (Nokia 7710) and emulator (WINS).

Also, the correct way to have things working is:

- install the SDK;
- then install CodeWarrior;

Doing the opposite will lead to this and other errors at linking time.

The 7710 SDK presumably has similar messaging related APIs for sending & receiving messages as the Series 60 SDKs, but none that can be used to actually change the messaging application itself.

Anyhow, what do you mean when you want to change it "little bit"? What do you want to change and how, exactly?

The messaging application source code is not, however, available for you to change (and the app is in ROM, so it can't be touched easily anyway).

You have to register Enviroment variable PATH
with real path where the link.exe is

c:\Program Files\Microsoft Visual Studio .NET 2003\Common7

Have you ever used MakMake command ?

I used it to convert *.mmp file to Visual C++.Net file, but it had some error.
