Hi,

I never work around this, but I think you have to write Recognizer for this.

You will get some clue from

http://www.newlc.com/topic-7132

Hi, did you copy the header file containing CMMFDevSound from the previous releases of SDK? As far as i understand it is officialy not part of any S60 3.x SDK.

And does NewFilePlayerL succeed or not? Does it leave? I guess that with the path you showed as an example it will - the windows paths are not usable in the emulator. The emulator emulates the C: drive in [your-sdk-installation-path]\epoc32\winscw\c. So if you try to open a file in your Symbian application from c:\MyFile.txt, in the PC that is actually in my case, for example, located in: F:\Symbian\9.2\S60_3rd_FP1_2\Epoc32\winscw\c\MyFile.txt.

void CAudioTest::ConstructL()
{

iMdaPlayer = CMdaAudioPlayerUtility::NewFilePlayerL(KFilename, *this);
}
that KFilename is _LIT(KFilename,"C:\\Documents and Settings\\audio.wav"); for example

but I have not checked out any example of CMdaAudioPlayerUtility ,I found one (sound1 )in this site but it is gui and I don't undersatnd the gui application structure..

Care to show how you actually select the file to be played etc.? Have you checked out any of the examples of using CMdaAudioPlayerUtility?

Thank you all. Changing CMMFDevSound intialization order do the trick. First initialize output then input.
The threads doesn't have any importance.
In resume it works. Creating two CMMFDevSound (output then input) and play recordeds buffers do the FULL-DUPLEX job.

Re: Testing application engine?

Doing what you describe is commonly called "Unit testing", and should be part of any serious development effort.

There are a few frameworks for unit testing available for symbian.
try google for "symbian unit testing"
Its basically a small program that run "unit tests" which are small code snippets you write with typically a "Setup", "RunTest" and "TearDown" function, to test your engine:s and api:s.
Then you have to write test cases for everything you want to test...

I think it may be the problem because ......here implementation of next view is done thrw the view which already contains the listbox and in the next view also u are creating the listbox and which may cause the problem
