We haven't forgot this... but this is now run without much public advertisement. Ask rbrunner or alh which have been our first rewarded users ! Don't worry, I can see that you are now on the top list.

Just noticed this!! Been here for long(and been among the top in Active users for quite a long time now), but havent seen received anything except a very satisfying 'thank you' from a few of those who received help from me

They can. However as Symbian do not have an office on every High Street the route to being trusted is to buy a Publisher Id.

The problem is with end users getting certificates & signing code. Users find the need for this confusing, and do not understand that when they sign the code they are trusting the application with their personal data, to spend money on network access/phone calls/messaging/...

Thanks for the info.
I am in need of files to be downloaded from AppTestLite page.
But download was denied since i am not a active user.
Is there any alternative method?

Active Users is already active... We did not publicize it yet but some of our best users got a small present to thank them for their contributions (actually it was bottles of good french wine). If you are often listed in the "Active Users" panel on the left side of the site, you can expect to be next !

Hi eric,

Do we have a feature on NewLC to identify whether a certain user is "OnLine" or not?
I think this feature was there earlier but since some time it has been removed.

Can we have this facility again?

ok eric,
but first it increases and after some time score was decreases today. i saw ur score that time 175 but u see now it shows 167.
and i don't think u have not posted recently.........

Hi,

Actually, the Active Users (last 30 days) panel which is shown on the left tab only counts the points you have earned o nthe last 30 days. So if you haven't post much recently then you will see your score decreasing. Total points earned do not change internally so you have earned your points... so only the panel shown do not take into account all your points.

You have only published one page ! If that would be enough, I would be rich.....
More seriously, I do not see any Adsense advertising when I visit your page. After a bit of digging, it appears that you have added an extra space at the end of your google adsense id. This space is not filtered by our system and seem to confuse Google. Now that I have removed it, AdSense advertizing seem to appear correctly.

I have clicked on one ads. So you should get at least one click for today (however, I suspect Google filters out a lot of click as the number of clicks for the whole site has become relatively low recently).

Please get in touch with me in a week or two if you do not see any better result then. There is no need for us to advertize this Adsense stuff if it does not work at all.

Whenever someone's design is finalized for this purpose and no more designs are required, please post it here so that I can come to know.

Till then I shall start doing something creative for NewLC....
Hope I can give something worthwhile soon....
