Hi,

When u seng your message from server to symbian client, you append at the end of your message "\r\n" then when you receive this on the client even if your message is less then the buffer you have taken, it will not wait till the buffer is full.

Very interesting and useful! I had the same problem. It may also be a problem when using RSocket::Send() this way, and in this case some extra bytes (probably zeros) will be sent !!! Quote from SDK (void Rsocket::Send(const TDesC8& aDesc,TUint someFlags,TRequestStatus& aStatus,TSockXfrLength& aLen)): "The length of the descriptor indicates the amount of data to be sent." So it doesn't explicitly says the maxim length ...
