Hey Nice discussion is going on here.

I am user of Nokia 7610 but I am not sure about the firmware version.
well I am also interested to know about any software which does not give the beep while recording. I have tried many software like spycall/total recal/ and many others but in all beep sound is there and which must not be there.

so please tell me any soft. which do not give the beep in NOKIA 7610 I can purchase the soft.

Hello, I use nokia 9300 (series 80) v4.53 22-12-2004 rae-6 firmware and it does not beep with Callrecorder version 1, bought and registered.

On Nokia n70 I also use this prog on instead the unbearable beep is present arrrgh and obviously makes me stop using the program.

I would pay to remove it, as I often can't note or remember all I'm told, but I believe it really depends on firmware and this depends on LAW!

aDD TO ALL THAT MY 9300 STARTS DIEING OFF... AS THE OTHER COMMUNICQATOR 9210 THAT HAD A LOCKAPPEARING ON IT...

Do you have any more information on what phones and firmware versions that the beep is not heard? Also, any sources that you know of were one can learn about moding the firmware to remove the beep and reflashing the phone?

Spy Call does also have the beep - being the developer, I should know. However, I do believe certain phone models with specific firmware versions may not have the beep present, though I have not been able to put my finger on exactly the combination.

And from time to time, I hear that one or the other call recorders don't have the beep on certain phones.....really, I have no clue, though the beep is built into the ROM, so it's not as simple as removing it or replacing it with silence..
