UIQ SDK vs Visual Studio?

Sorry if this'll be kinda blasphemy, but I'm a total newbie in UIQ.
So are there any UIQ 2.1 SDK releases for Visual Studio (2003)? I'm using the good old carbide.vs for S60 development, but I just got a job with a P910, and I wouldn't change the whole environment, if it's not necessary...

HAve you hot the solution for this? Becuase I getting a same message when installing on win 2003 SBS.

I tried to install UIQ SDK Code Warrior variant but it does not work with Carbide.c++.

S60 SDK already installed fails after UIQ SDK installation!!!

Hi,

which is the right (compatible) SDK for carbide.c++ ?
SDKforMetrowerksCodeWarrior for the Metrowerks CodeWarrior variant.
SDKforBorlandCBuilderX for the Borland C++ BuilderX variant.

...or an other one?

I have a question, i have a device SE P800, i know it is running under Symbian OS v7.0, i wonder that is there any way to update it to v7.0s. And where can i find the API's for MMF API's in order to use the framework mention in v7.0s...??

I tried both UIQ SDK 2.0 and 2.1. They all report on the first screen that "this kit is not fully tested on Win XP, blah, blah, blah". So is it running good on WinXP? Any issues?

You're right, the SDK should be on the new SonyEricsson Dev Portal. I have changed the page and included links from Symbian FTP server.

Sone Ericsson seems to have removed that download....and i i downloaded the uiq sdk 2.1 instead, which doesnt seem to work with my mobile (p800). where else cna i download the uiq 2.0 sdk?

The UIQ 2.1 and UIQ 2.0 SDKs both support native development in C++. The UIQ 2.1 SDK is binary compatible with the UIQ 2.0 SDK but offers some new APIs. To use the SDK you will need to obtain separately a compiler for the PC-based emulator. Compilers are available as part of IDEs provided by Metrowerks (CodeWarrior) or Borland (C++BuilderX).
