But in forum nokia someone supply me the .xml files referece to serial60_v2_1, i think it will help(i am on vocation now )

Well, your posts always seem to get multiposted maybe you double click instead of click just once!!

As far as the question is concerned, AFAIK, devices.xml has entries of all the SDKs installed and IDE checks the existance of the SDK from there.

to Symbian_Neil
Thank you for you reply. i can use the SDK in command line, but can not use it in IDE, and there is no such .XML file in that folder(in my case), it seems that there is no such .XML file for Serial60_v2_1

well, devices.xml is typically located in : C:\Program Files\Common Files\Symbian (Pasted my own path..so think relatively in your case)

What happens when you type devices in command line? does it show the SDK ? If it does show, then probably your SDK is installed correctly and its not a problem at all.
