 <description>&lt;p&gt;Don&#039;t assume that you can program for Symbian phones in C# using .NET. At the moment there is no in-built support for .NET in any Symbian phone.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;There is a company separate from Symbian and Nokia which implements a version of the .NET compact framework on top of S60, 3rd edition. The product is currently in beta:&lt;br /&gt;

 <title>Developing C#.NET application for Symbian OS</title>

&lt;p&gt;Since I never got a chance to develop application for mobile OS ,I don’t have any idea to develop application for Symbian. &lt;br /&gt;
Please consider me as a fresher in this and help me.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;Requirement: I would like to develop a small component in C#.NET to search in the contacts of a mobile phone which is using Symbian OS.&lt;br /&gt;
Please give me a step by step procedure for the same.&lt;/p&gt;
