Hi,

Just follow the label example in the UIQ3 documentation:
1.) add a command to the .hrh
2.) modify the rls and rss file respectively
3.) and in your view class add: (in the attached file, browser could not understand)

I used the default UIQ3 API Application template and just edit the files.

BTW may I asked if you've experience JNI in CDC? 'coz I'm getting some problems here .

Hi,

I got that code working on my SE P990i device and I'm sure that the values are correct since I am comparing it with 2 other Location API application using mobinfo.dll and the other sis file I've downloaded from the net (forgot it source though). Maybe your having a problem displaying the actual values, maybe pointer conversions because I've experienced that problem... In my case I've used a label to display the IMSI, etc..

Thanks for your reply, I have a problem regrading the IMSI code that you provided to me last time. I installed it into the phone but the program shows nothing. After that, I tried to put the code into exe file type and ran it inside the phone, but still nothing is working. Why is it so? For your case, what will the code shows?

Thanks for your reply, but the link you forwarded is the method before symbiansigned website changed. Now the symbiansigned process is only available for user who have publisher ID (require to pay $$). So aren't there any alternative ways to sign my applications?

Again thanks for your reply. I also agree that the best way is to test the IMSi code in UIQ phone, but the problem is symbiansigned website is currently only available for user with publisher ID to sign for their application. So, are there any alternative ways to sign the application?

Hi,

I'm not sure about the emulator (if there is a way to get am IMSI). It's best to test on a UIQ3 phone.

Once again need your help, I used carbide 1.2 to create a UIQ3 GUI application ,I added the .h from sonyericsson in View.h, but how do I include CActive in View.h as well?

The original View.h is :

class CNetworkManagerView : public CQikViewBase
{........
........
}

How do I include CActive also?

class CNetworkManagerView: public Cactive

........
}

Hi,

Have you tried adding euser.lib in your mmp libraries because CActive needs it.

BTW if your using Carbide 1.2 you can try creating a new UIQ3 GUI Application, add a new class file and just copy the contents of the .h and .cpp file (from ericsson) and link it to your AppNameView.h. Try instantiating and call some function... To test if everything works fine.

I've tried following the code from http://newlc.com/Retrieving-IMEI-IMSI-Network-Info.html, I was able to get the IMEI and IMSI however I was not able to get Network Info the application crashed throwing "Application close; Reason: Cone; Code: 14" error.
