Hi Symbian_Neil,

Thanks fro the reply, but that is what the symbiaan error code informs.
I want to know I m going wrong.I was getting "gateway not found " msg earlier.
After modifeied the mac addressin ethermac.dat and modification in etherdriver.dat i m getting this error.

Ps: I m trying to connect the s60 2nd ed fp3 emulator to network. s60 2nd ed fp1 was workin well b4 I install this sdk.
And after that thing got messed up. I have followed all the steps properly described in

Well atleast the error indicates that the operation could not be performed due to the hardware not being available!!

Hi ,

I wanted to chk whether my emulator is connected to the internet or not through ethernet.While running the service applliation I am getting the panic:" System error -44".

What may be the reason?
