Which SDK are you using ?
You can read the Chat or SIP example in S60 3Rd MR SDK or the Socket example in S60 2nd Edition FP3.

Hi everybody

Is there some piece of working code that open a socket for read & write to a site/port and write and read some data?

We tried to use OpenC but experienced some bugs.
