hi,

it not possible to avoid hard reset from the application . only the manufacturer has the control or api;s access that does the key event processing for the hard reset..

alternatively u can avoid reset by not allowing those keys to be used form the key capture tecnhique which can be handled from ur application..

thanks but i want to know can an application have that program buil in it to prevent this.If it cant be done then can u help me to protect my application via this manner

Force your application to be installed on a memory card, not the phone memory, and it won't be removed after a hard reset.

HI,
I want to know how can i prevent this reset from removing my application. The reset done while switchon the phone by pressing power,
green,* and 3 together. if the user wants he can remove it by unistalling by application manager but not via this manner.
