&lt;p&gt;it not possible to avoid hard reset from the application . only the manufacturer has the control or api;s access that does the key event processing for the hard reset..&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;alternatively u can avoid reset by not allowing those keys to be used form the key capture tecnhique which can be handled from ur application..&lt;/p&gt;

I want to know how can i prevent this reset from removing my application. The reset done while switchon the phone by pressing power,&lt;br /&gt;
