Hi Eric,
I tried it and it didn't work. If I don't change the bin and lib directories in carbide/JRE, I always get the error message "JVM terminated. Exit code=1..."

I also tried to re-install carbide. un-install the SDK, ActivePerl and JRE 1.4.2. an re install all in a differnet order. it didn't help. I tired to install carbide developer but that didn't help either.

It's very frustrating not being able to install it on a laptop aftar working with carbide for months on my desk computer.

Imzadi

Have you tried to delete your workspace and restart Carbide ?
Also you should not need to copy any JRE file into Carbide directory.

And if nothing work, I would bet on a carbide full reinstallation.
