Hi,

Have you tried it in 3rd edition SDK? Did you tried drawing anything using that newly created gc? If so, how did you do that??? Do we need to activate that newly created gc?

yes u can use the following code its working for me
CWindowGc* gc;
User::LeaveIfError(screen->CreateContext(gc));
CleanupStack::PushL(gc);
