I downloaded S60 SDK as you said and extracted examples from it.

Well, yes, the GUI code of the S60 samples is different, but all the rest is identical or very nearly so.

So if a have a sample that e.g. shows the use of file functions, maybe I can't compile it on UIQ and let it run, but of course I still can have a look at the code and learn a lot by just seeing the classes and methods used in a proper context.

So i'm assuming that S60 SDK have all that examples but i thought that s60 code is different from uiq code(at least gui code)?

I noticed this as well and finally installed a S60 SDK just to be able to have a look at some of those examples...
