Mike Schroepfer (Vice President of Engineering at Mozilla) published on his blog some insights about the future of Firefox for mobile phones. The Mozilla web browser, already running on the Nokia N800 Internet tablet had a (Windows) Mobile version for a couple of years, Minimo. This later version will not be supported by Mozilla anymore and the focus is now on Mobile Firefox, a new version built on an optimized version of the Gecko engine.
