Series 60 2nd Edition SDK for Symbian OS, Supporting Feature Pack 3, For C++, Beta

Forum Nokia has just release the beta version of its Series 60 SDK with Feature Pack 3 support. The Series 60 SDK for Symbian OS enables application development for devices based on Series 60 platform using C++. The SDK is based on Series 60 Developer Platform 2nd Edition - Supporting Feature Pack 3 and Symbian OS 8.1a. The SDK includes all key functionality needed for application development (documentation, API reference, add-on tools, emulator, target compiler) excluding IDE. This SDK supports CodeWarrior for Symbian OS v2.8 and 3.0.

Enhancements

  Updated emulator menubar including emulator configuration functionality.
  "File Open" starts up the emulator content loading dialog.
  Updated Preferences window provides an easy-to-use user interface for configuring global emulator settings and network connectivity.
  The Diagnostics window displays run-time and debug information about the applications running in the emulator.
