Orange Code Camp
The Orange Code Camp is a three day event organised by Orange and targeted at mobile application developers. The event will run from September 13th to 15th 2004, at the Futuroscope science park near Poitiers in France.
During these three intensive days, you will be able to:
Fully understand Orange mobile application requirements and routes to market
Attend over one hundred sessions and interactive workshops
Train and code, build and customise applications for possible commercialisation
Physically test applications against devices across the Orange 2G & 3G Networks
250 Orange Partner developers will live and sleep over three days as if they were working and camping with friends (24h a day food available, and sleeping bags provided! ).
Developers can attend over one hundred 80-minute sessions over the three days featuring presentations and interactive workshops. The sessions will be duplicated throughout the event to allow plenty of opportunities to become involved, and will cover areas such as Content, Network and APIs, Operating Systems and execution environments, and the process of testing, signature and validation.
Both during the day and throughout the night, developers can gain technical information, build and code applications and test them over the Orange 2G and 3G network against a range of Orange signature devices and SIM cards.
Evening entertainment (for those developers not coding) will be provided by Orange, and developers will be encouraged to sleep at the venue, with free sleeping bags provided.
You will pay only €120 to attend the three days. This cost includes all accommodation and food, and attendance at as many of the sessions, and as much technical support as they want. The only element not included is the cost of getting there. But we will arrange courtesy transport from Charles de Gaulle airport to Poitiers
The cost is low as it is in the interest of Orange to encourage you to attend. The more help we give you to develop applications, the closer the applications will meet our requirements.

Remember Orange can only accept 250 registrations so book early if you are interested.
