NTT Docomo launches two new Symbian OS wireless phones
NTT Docomo has just announced the launch of two new Symbian OS based mobile phones. The FOMA D702i is a new member of the styulish 702 family and is manufactured by Mitsubishi Electric Corporation. This phone size is 130x47x16.7 mm for 100g. It has a 2 inches / QVGA / 262K colors screen and two cameras (1.3 megapixel on rear and 100k pixel on front). The The D702i handset has built-in support for i-channel (automatic delivery of news, weather, entertainment, sports and) and i-appli (download of program listings for both terrestrial digital and analog TV broadcasts) and might be used to control various A/V equipments.

The FOMA NM850iG is manufactured by Nokia, based on the popular 6630 hardware and the S60 software platform. This increases the total number of Symbian OS-based mobile phones shipped in Japan to 26.
